Rare "Cembalo Traverso" by John PaulA compact, versatile, five-octave 1x8', 1x4' + buff transverse spinet with uniquely guided wood jacks, from around the middle of the last century, by the British builder John Paul (1920-1991). The case and trestle stand are made from fine English woods and veneers, and the workmanship is outstanding. The longest length is 5 feet, 8 inches. It was professionally restored by Ed Kottick in 2008, and converted from leather plectra to Celcon at that time. It is in excellent condition and priced for a quick sale at $4,750.
